You have been invited and have agreed to taking part in an interview undertaken by Support 4 Kids Ltd for our Special Love 4 Special Kids campaign. These instructions and guidelines form part of our agreement, and will stipulate the usage of material collected from your interview.
The Interview
Face-to-face interview: if your interview is taking place live i.e. face-to-face, we will agree on a suitable place to undertake the interview. We will confirm all practical details like place, date and what to expect. This will be emailed to you plus a copy of the guidelines listed here, as well as instructions on how to prepare for your interview.
Online interview: if your interview will take place online (video or audio), we will use an appropriate online platform. You will be provided with the relevant instructions and link for this platform as well as confirmation of the interview date and time in a separate email. You will also receive an email copy of the guidelines listed here, as well as instructions on how to prepare for your interview.
Questionnaire interview: if you have elected to answer our questions in writing, the respective questions will be forwarded to you, and we will agree on a deadline for these to be completed. We will also require a submission of a photo of yourself or your child to be used with sharing your interview.
Please note that you are free to withdraw your consent or participation in this interview before the publication date without prejudice.
Usage of Material
Your interview will typically be recorded using both video and audio techniques. In some instances, you may elect to only answer questions in writing. After the interview has been completed, your interview will be edited to provide a clean copy that is useable for sharing with our audience through a range of mediums. These may include our Facebook page, YouTube, Support 4 Kids’ website, other social media platforms, and podcasts. In some cases, we may decide to transcribe material to be incorporated in an interview book.
Please note, you have the option to opt out of a particular medium in the section ‘Your Consent’.
Approval of Edited Interview
You will be sent a copy of the edited interview in all available formats (MP4, MP3 and text) to be approved by yourself. Your approval of the received edited interview is done by return email, at which point the interview will be published in accordance with our agreement.
Confidentiality
Video: If you are featured in a video you are identifiable by the nature of being visible in the recording. You have an option to stipulate the name which you want featured on the screen, and in the description of the video content. Please stipulate your request on the form below.
Audio: If you are featured in an audio recording you are potentially identifiable by the nature of the material you share, as well as the point of introduction at the beginning of the interview. Please stipulate your request on the form below.
Written: if you have elected to answer questions in writing, you are potentially identifiable by the nature of the answers you share, and the photo you submit. Your answers will be incorporated into either a video, audio or book. Please stipulate your request for identification on the form below.
Book: If your story is featured in a book, you can elect to have this done anonymously or by name. Please stipulate your request on the form below.
Benefits
There are no monetary benefits to you for partaking in this interview. The purpose of the interview is to provide inspiration, awareness, motivation and support to viewers, listeners and readers going through a similar situation as the one you are describing. You are welcome to use the published interview for your own promotional purposes, however, at no point are you allowed to make any changes to the published material as the full copyright belongs to Support 4 Kids Ltd. You will be provided with the relevant link to showcase where your interview will be featured.
